Glen Duane Eland, 66, of Bentleyville, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at home.
He was born July 20, 1959 in Charleroi, a son of the late Raymon Eland and Dolores Mae Geho Eland.
Glen attended Charleroi schools, and graduated from Pittsburgh Learning Laboratory Center.
He worked for Davey Tree Service.
An avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan, Glen enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was a member of the American Legion in Bentleyville, Miner’s Club in Richeyville, Labor Temple in Canonsburg, affiliated with the Orchard Church, and a former member of the Eagles in Bentleyville.
Surviving are his siblings, Joseph R. Eland (Cheryl) of Canonsburg, Cheryl A. Vernet of Monongahela, and Roy R. Eland (Terri) of Lucinda; daughters, Ashley Moore (Eddie), and Alyson Eland, all of Chester, Virginia; long-time friend, Brenda Bartrug; grandchildren, Megan, Lexi, and Chad Moore, and Hayden Campbell; nieces and nephew, Christine, Brittney, Jessica, and Jeremy, and his faith-full companion, Tye.
Deceased is an infant brother.
Friends welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255), where a service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m. Pastor John Custer will officiate.
Private interment in Monongahela Cemetery.
