Helen Matey

Helen Matey, 92, of Van Voorhis, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at Monongahela Valley Hospital.

She was born January 31, 1921 in Naomi, Fayette County, a daughter of George and Rose Madzuircin Kovich.

Surviving are a son, Joseph Matey and grandson, Joseph Matey, both of Finleyville.

Deceased are her husband, Joseph F. Matey and a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and John Seftas.

Friends welcome from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2013.
