Helen (Popovich) Nestor

Helen Popovich Nestor, 97, of Scenery Hill, passed away Sunday morning, February 5, 2023 at Concordia Hospice of Washington - Donnell House, Washington.

She was born August 13, 1925 in National, West Virginia, a daughter of the late John and Mary Rosen Popovich.

In her early years, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and gardening. Later in life, she enjoyed watching Price is Right, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune.

Her husband, John Nestor, passed away on February 2, 1995.

Surviving is a daughter, Patty West (Richard) of Eighty Four, and John V. Nestor of Youngwood; grandchildren, Mark Grechowsky, Megan West, Amanda West, and Jennie Nestor, and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her daughter, Carol A. Grechowsky; brothers, Mike Popovich and John Popovich, and sisters, Julia Popovich, and Mary Levers.

Private burial was held in Beallsville Cemetery.
