Hulk Hogan, a 12-year-old Chihuahua, owned by Wayne and Trudy Hite of Bentleyville, passed away on July 15, 2019.
He was born on February 18, 2007, in Savannah, Georgia.
He loved to take car trips to Pennsylvania for visits, joining his family on every trip they ever took. He enjoyed hotel stays and if a hotel wasn’t "dog friendly” he would sneak in by quietly hiding in his "Hannah Montana" bag.
Hogan moved to Bentleyville with his parents in 2009, but he was not a fan of the cold weather and he hated the snow. As a matter of fact, being a southerner, he never understood snow and his family would have to sweep the snow off of the grass for him to potty. He also hated Halloween, but he got dressed up anyway.
In June, Hogan was photographed for the Bentleyville Area Historical Society's 2020 Pet Calendar, along with his sister, Sophie and his brother, Piper.
He loved all people and as soon someone sat down, he climbed onto their lap. He loved the sun; hot weather and his toy rubber ducks. There were five beds in his house, but he would sleep on the couch and in bed with his mom and dad. His need to be near his mom was so great that he would sleep on her desk everyday while she worked in her office.
He is missed more than anyone could ever comprehend.
