Hui Sun Chon Hamric, 59, of Coconut Creek, Florida, died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Florida.
She was born November 20, 1947 in Sokcho-si, Kangwon-do, South Korea, a daughter of Chang U. Chon and Chin Ae Kim Chon.
Formerly of Washington, Mrs. Hamric was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church where she was active with the Lenten Fish Fries.
She once worked in housekeeping for Motel 6 and Interstate Motel, both in Washington.
On April 4, 1966 in Seoul, South Korea, she married Richard L. (Pickles) Hamric, who died October 1, 1990.
Surviving are two children, Mary Hamric of Coconut Creek and Richard Hamric of Philadelphia and several family members in South Korea and the state of California.
Friends received from 10 until 11 a.m., Saturday, August 11, the hour of a blessing service, at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc. 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255). Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society/PA Division, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
