Irene Kotchman

Irene A. "Rinky" Gaso Kotchman, 73, of Bentleyville, died Friday, September 30, 2011 in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born March 28, 1938 in Bentleyville. Her parents, Andrew L. Gaso, Jr. and Margaret E. Astrop Gaso Skovran are deceased.

A graduate of the Bentleyville High School, Mrs. Kotchman was a member of Ave Maria Parish.

She was a former member of the Bentleyville Lions Club.

She retired from Corning in Charleroi.

Surviving are four children; son, John J. Kotchman, Jr. of Ellsworth and his children, Deja Glemba, Shanda and Lexie Kotchman, daughter, Regina M. Kvartek (John) of Aiken, South Carolina and their children, Cory and Renee Kvartek, daughter, Margie I. Blackburn of Akron, Ohio and her children, Cristy, John and Michael Blackburn and son, Keith A. Kotchman of Bentleyville and his children, Angela and Logan Kotchman; two great-grandchildren, Ryder Glemba and Aiden Laughlin; two brothers, Joseph Gaso, Sr. (Opal) and Larry Gaso (Kathi), all of Bentleyville and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband, John J. Kotchman, Sr.; daughter, Renee Ann Kotchman and step-father, Stephen M. Skovran.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2011 followed at 10 a.m. by Mass of Christian Burial at Ave Maria Church, Bentleyville, with the Rev. Gary W. Krummert, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
