Irma Griffith Obituary
For several years, Mrs. Griffith lived in McDonald and Bentleyville and most recently in North Charleroi.
She was born November 3, 1930 in Bentleyville, a daughter of S. Oakley Leyda and Hazel Blanche Armbruster Leyda.
On September 19, 1967 in Washington, she married Ernest C. Griffith, who died November 2, 1996.
Surviving are three daughters, Wanda J. Cullen of Washington, Lisa Joan Henevich (Randy) of Finleyville and Brenda J. Bethem (Kevin) of Belle Vernon; two grandchildren, Elizabeth J. Rothka and John Piccio; three great-grandchild, Joshua, Jacob and Jessica Rothka; a sister, Jane Slaughter of Wilmington, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three brothers, Harry, Clarence and Harold Leyda.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 23 with the Rev.
