James William Cronin, Sr., 84, of Brownville, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Uniontown Hospital.
He was born December 7, 1930 in Large, Allegheny County and was the son of James Cronin and Anna Seleski Cronin Cherok.
Mr. Cronin worked at Bethlehem Mines mine 60, Lincoln Homes and retired as a van driver for Ricco Bus Lines.
Surviving are his wife, Trillis Ellen VanDivner Cronin; children, Lisa Delgado (Raul) of Low Hill, Barbara Cronin, Donna Rayburn (Richard), James Cronin, Jr. (Nina) and Michael Cronin, all of Brownsville, Randy Cronin (Tina) of Belle Vernon and Wendy Lancaster (John) of Uniontown; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two daughters who died in infancy; sister, Maryanne Roberts and brother, John Cherok.
Friends are welcome to a blessing service at 1:30 p.m., Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, with Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, officiating.
