James Joseph "Jimmy Joe" Woods, III, 47, of Marianna died Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

He was born March 16, 1974, in Washington, a son of James J. Woods, Jr. of Lone Pine and Nancy Sebetich Woods of Marianna.

He attended Bentworth High School.

The last place Jimmy Joe worked was for Marianna Borough, where he was highly praised for the work that he had done. He was an outdoorsman at heart, and loved being outside hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and quads.

Surviving are a son, Corry Woods (Morgan) of Pricedale; two daughters, Jenny Woods of Canonsburg and Summer Lee of Washington; ex-wife Krystal Burgan of Finleyville; sister Jessica Rush (Raymond) of Clarksville; three step-brothers, Randy Tabron, Jr. (Kalee) of Belle Vernon, Michael Tabron, Sr. (Melissa) of Bentleyville, and Cylus Woods of Lone Pine; two step-sisters Breanna Woods of Butler, and Kortnie Woods of Lone Pine; step-grandmother, Mary Jane Woods of Washington; grandchildren Madelyn Woods and Niko Coyle and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Deceased are his brother, Nathan Woods; step-mother, Marlene Woods; parental grandparents, James J. Woods, Sr. and Pauline Helen Harris Woods and maternal grandmother Doris Lucille Godfrey Sebetich.
