Jane Rupert Obituary

Jane "Janie" Stout Rupert, 60, of Washington, died Friday, August 24, 2007 at U.P.M.C. - Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.


She was born September 19, 1946 in Greenville, a daughter of the late William B. and Mary V. Watkins Stout.


She enjoyed making crafts and being with family and friends.


Janie attended the First Presbyterian Church, Bentleyville where she married James A. Rupert on September 9, 1967.


Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Ryan James Rupert of Washington; four brothers, Thomas Philip Stout (Diann) of McMurray, Senator J. Barry Stout (Lenore) of Bentleyville, William M. Stout (Saundra) of Eighty Four and David Gary Stout (Donna) of Peach Tree City, Georgia; a sister, Cynthia Marsteller of Washington and several nieces and nephews.


Deceased are in addition to her parents is her twin brother, James A. Stout, who died May 12, 2000.


Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255), where services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2007 with Mr. Rick Bruckner, officiating. Interment will follow in Claysville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Central Blood Bank, 5 Parkway Center, 875 Greentree Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 or the Jane Stout Rupert W & J Scholarship Fund, c/o of W & J College, Washington, PA 15301.
