Jim "Skinny" Ritenour

Jim "Skinny" Ritenour, Sr., 74, of Bentleyville, passed away Tuesday morning, September 23, 2025 at UPMC Washington.

He was born November 12, 1950 in Connellsville, a son of the late James R. and Allie Mae Porterfield Ritenour.

Skinny was a union mason and retired from the Dave Fincham Company.

An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends and picking on his grandkids.

His wife, Mary Kerns Ritenour, passed away. January 25, 2024.

Surviving are his daughter, Lisa Giron (Bob) of Washington; grandchildren, Amy Giron (Rich), Jessica Sinko (Brandon), Holly Giron, R.J. Sinko, Austin Smith and Jackson Ritenour; great-grandson, P.J. Preece; faithful companion, Bubble; siblings, Mary Ellen Thomas (John), Thomas Ritenour (Peggy), William Ritenour (Margie), Bonnie Riley (William), Joseph Ritenour (Jackie), Debra Jenkins (Tom), Sally Jo Evans (George), Arlene Luketich (George) and Marlene Fereza (Frank), and several nieces and nephews.

Also deceased, are a son, Jimmy L. Ritenour, Jr. who passed away July 15, 2020; siblings, Dorothy Ament, Hazel Geary, Dennis Ritenour, Danny Ritenour, Richard Ritenour, and Patsy Shawley.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, September 26 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street Bentleyville, 724-239-2255.

Interment will be private.
