Jimmy Ferguson

James "Jimmy" Ferguson, 63, of Marianna, passed away Friday afternoon, April 11, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after an eight-month battle with cancer.

He was born February 28, 1962 in Homestead, Allegheny County, a son of the late Harvey H. and Dolores Patricia Walters Ferguson.

Jimmy was a 1980 graduate of Bethlehem Center High School.

He worked the former Western Center in Canonsburg, and later at the Peters Township High School, and was a member of the Marianna Lyceum.

A prayerful and spiritual person, Jimmy enjoyed family gathering at reunions and during the holidays. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking.

Surviving are his siblings, Harvey W. Ferguson of Blainesburg, Patty Everly (Ray) of Beallsville, Brian Ferguson (Tracy) of Hagerstown, Maryland, Robert Ferguson of Marianna, and Regina Walter (Clayton) of Allenhurst, Georgia; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and brother-in-law, Donald Brady of Marion Center.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a sister Mary Denise Brady, and nephew John Parshall.

Family and friends are welcome to a memorial visitation from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255. During the Saturday visitation, a Catholic Blessing Service will be held at 2 p.m. with Deacon Tim Counihan, officiating.
