Obituary

John Hustava, Jr., 77 of Coal Center, passed away the morning of Monday, January 24, 2022 at Premier Washington Health Center.

He was born May 26, 1944 in Charleroi, a son of the late John Hustava, Sr. and Marion McGavitt Bitonti Hustava.

A graduate of California High School, Mr. Hustava worked for Golden Eagle Construction Company.

He enjoyed fishing and fixing and tinkering with lawn tractors.

His wife, Joanne Smalley Hustava, passed away in 2011.

Surviving are his children, Sherri Turner (Monte) of Marianna and James B. Hustey, Jr. (Danielle) of Bentleyville; grandchildren, Jonathon Tindall, Andrew Smalley, and Jaidyn, River, Joanna and Reed Hustey; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Jane Detrick of Centerville Borough and Sandra Hustava of Coal Center; his dog, Dutchess and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a son Steven Smalley.

Friends are welcome from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255.
