Karen Ruth Wolff Molesky, 63, of Bentleyville, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Washington Hospital.
She was born September 10, 1959 at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Monongahela, a daughter of the late Ruth (Gayton) and George Wolff.
Karen was a graduate of Bethel Park High School. After high school, she attended Washington Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her R.N. In addition to her nursing career, she was a devoted stay at home mother for many years before returning to work.
Karen was an active member of the River of Life Church, and had a strong faith in the Lord. This was evident in her kind and caring spirit. She was an avid participant in the Pro-Life Organization and Feed the Children, two charities about which she was extremely passionate. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and going on scenic car rides with her husband through the countryside. Karen loved the outdoors and camping, and would spend hours on the back porch in the summertime grilling with her family. She had a knack for simple country living, and filled her home with antiques and farmhouse crafts.
Karen had a very welcoming spirit. She knew no stranger, and was always making people laugh. She was selfless and giving, constantly putting others before herself.
Surviving are her loving husband of 42 years, Thomas Molesky; daughter Kristie Molesky (Curtis); son Adam Molesky, and daughter, MaryAnn Molesky Sharpe (Jonathon); her sister Donna Matich and brother-in-law James Matich; her grandchildren Jordan, Corbin, and Charleigh, and several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Eugene (Pam), David (Vicki), Philip (Linda), and Theresa, who she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, Karen was predeceased by mother and father-in-law Louise and Edwin Molesky.
She was loved by many and will be extremely missed by everyone who knew her.
