Karen Lynne Lowe Sicchitano, 58, of Washington, passed peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with her son, daughter, sister & husband by her side.
Karen truly knew that it was more blessed to give then to receive. She had the biggest heart and loved hard. Her generosity knew no bounds. She was not only generous in life, but also in death as an organ donor.
Karen was a loving mother, and GG with such a beautiful soul. Her radiant smile and presence lit up any room she entered.
Karen's children and grandchildren brought immeasurable joy into her life. She reveled in their laughter, nurtured their dreams, and imparted upon them the profound importance of kindness and empathy. As she spent cherished moments with them, she ensured that her legacy of compassion would continue through the generations.
She was currently employed at UPMC Strabane Woods in Washington.
On January 25, 2021, she married Todd Sicchitano, who survives.
Also surviving are her children, Justin Ranegar (Heather), Miranda Ranegar (Kyle), Ryan Sicchitano (Lauren), and Alyssa Sicchitano (Chris); grandchildren, Zhayd, Romy, Teijo, Vailah, Peyton, Novaleigh, Sophia, Nico, and Nikki; siblings, William Lowe (Christine), Glenn Lowe (Lisa), Alan Lowe (Becky), and Linda Cook.
Deceased are her parents, William Eugene Lowe, Sr., and Gwendolyn Jane Fry Lowe; siblings, Chuck Lowe, Richard (Peanuts) Lowe, and Deborah Dayak.
At Karen's request, no services will be held.
