Leona "Lee" (Stepko) Palla

Leona "Lee" M. Stepko Palla, 71, of Ellsworth, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in her home.

She was born December 31, 1950, in Bentleyville, a daughter of John J. and Mary Sawka Stepko.

Her husband, Edward C. Palla, passed away on September 26, 2015.

She graduated from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and had her own salon in their home for 35 years.

Lee was a graduate of Bentworth High School and also attended the Pittsburgh Modeling School.

She was a member of the Saint Katharine Drexel Parish.

Surviving are her sons, Ed Vincent and Jonpaul "Pope"; Ed's wife Jayme and their daughter Carly and Jonpaul's wife, Amy; sister, Dolores Sprowls, and brother, John Stepko, Jr., and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

There will be no public visitation.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Saint Katharine Drexel, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
