Lillian Korba D'Vorchak, 78, of Bentleyville, died Monday, March 23, 2009 at Monongahela Valley Hospital.
She was born March 20, 1931 in Cokeburg, a daughter of the late Tom and Josephine Cmoriak Korba.
She was a graduate of Bentleyville High School.
Mrs. D'Vorchak worked as an assistant manager at Isaly's in Charleroi and later as a clerk at Giant Eagle in Bentleyville from where she retired.
She was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, Charleroi.
On February 18, 1950 at Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, she married Joseph A. D'Vorchak, who died December 19, 1992.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Thomas Holman of Bentleyville; a sister, Helen Jeanette Vogel of Huntington Beach, California and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are son, Darryl Joseph D'Vorchak, who died September 22, 2008 and a brother, John Korba.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255), where family and friends will meet at 9:15 am, Thursday, March 26, 2009 followed at 10 a.m. by a Funeral Liturgy at Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, 828 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, with Rev. James Ragan, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
