Lois J. Hrutkay

Lois J. Brutout Hrutkay, 77, formerly of Ellsworth, died Monday, August 23, 2010 in Baldwin Health Center, Pittsburgh.

She was born March 3, 1933 in Charleroi, a daughter of Joseph and Alice Bollenn Brutout.

Mrs. Hrutkay was a 1951 graduate of the Charleroi High School.

On August 22, 1964 in Charleroi, she married Edward J. Hrutkay, Sr., who died April 10, 2002.

She was the devoted mother of two children, Edward J. Hrutkay, Jr. (Jessica) of Port Vue and Victoria Lynn Cathcart (Brian) of Cranberry; devoted grandmother of Nicholas, Christopher, Edward III, Zachary, Rebecca and Hallee Hrutkay and Jack Cathcart.

Also surviving are three sisters, Alice Linderman of Belle Vernon, Mary Jean Brutout of state of Washington and Karen Jewett of Texas; four brothers, Earl Brutout and Paul Brutout, both of the state of Indiana, Floyd Brutout of Texas and Wilbert Brutout of state of California and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three brothers, Glenn, Duane and Lee Brutout and a sister, Linda Brutout.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255), where services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2010 with the Pastor Bob Fagan, officiating.
