Lorraine Uher Obituary

Lorraine Blackburn Uher, 89, of Monongahela, Fallowfield Township, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at the home of her daughter, Ruth Ann.

She was born September 3, 1931 in Bentleyville, a daughter of Russell Hughes Blackburn and Ruth Carks Blackburn.

She was a graduate of the Bentleyville High School and worked various jobs in the Mon Valley area.

Mrs. Uher was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church in Bentleyville and lived a life of faith.

She was happiest being with her family, and later in life, enjoyed all of her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Martin F. Uher; children, John Shemasek (Bené Strope) of Stockdale and Ruth Ann Rodgers (Negley) of Belle Vernon; step-son, Kim Uher (Rhonda) of Van Voorhis; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Blackburn (Shirleen) of O’Fallen, Illinois; daughter-in-law, Beckie Shemasek of Bentleyville; sister-in-law, Alma Blackburn and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a son, Andrew Bly Shemasek; granddaughter, Alyssa May Shemasek; grandson, Nicholas Uher and brother, Clarence Ralph Blackburn;

Private services were held at the convenience of the family with burial in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora
