Lynna Ronnell Flippen, 25, of Ellsworth, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 13, 2010.
She was born December 30, 1984, in Washington, a daughter of Kathleen L. Jones of Houston and Monsel Flippen, Jr. of Merrittstown.
She attended school in the Bentworth School District and was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Job Corps in 2002.
She was employed at McMurray Hills and was recently accepted to school to pursue a career in nursing. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bentleyville.
Lynna had a love for art, gardening and spending time with her son.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her son Esau Graham of Ellsworth; a brother, Allen King of Atlanta, GA; a sister Tameka King-Buchak and brother-in-law Matthew Buchak of Arnold; a step-brother, Frank Jones of Astoria, New York; nephews, Anthony Stevenson and Maliq Buchak and niece Makiah Buchak and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are her brother Joseph J. King; maternal grandmother Bessie D. King and paternal uncle Ricky Flippen.
Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc, 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255). Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 18 at Ave Maria Church, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with Lynna's uncle, Pastor Layman Davis, officiating. Those attending are to go directly to the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Esau Graham Trust Fund.
