Margaret "Peg" (Saluga) Bissett

Margaret “Peg” L. Saluga Bissett, 69, of Ellsworth passed away Friday evening, April 17, 2026 in her home.

She was born in Medina, Ohio on June 20, 1956, to the late Louis “Sonny” J. Saluga, Jr. and the late Opal L. Presock Saluga.

Peg moved to the Bentworth area in 1976, where she found her best friend and the love of her life, Kenneth E. Bissett. They were married July 8, 1979.

They had two children together, Ryan E. Bissett (Dawnette) of Charleroi, and Kacie E. Johnson (Jesse) of Bentleyville; two step-children, Michael R. Bissett (Nannette) of Mather and Denita R. Payton (Tim) of Graysville; four grandchildren, Cheyenne Bissett of Stockdale, Caitlyn Bissett of Charleroi, Damian Johnson of Bentleyville and Alyxzandria Johnson of Bentleyville; four step-grandchildren, Joshua Bissett (Elyssa) of Waynesburg, Jacob Bissett (Madison) of Chartiers Houston, Megan Payton of Belle Vernon and Tim Payton (TJ) of Graysville; two brothers, Leonard J. Saluga and Randolph Saluga, both of Loretto, Tennessee.

At Peg’s request, no services will be held.

They are underfunded, understaffed, and underpaid. Their work is so valuable to so many suffering from this awful disease.
