Maria Motycki Obituary

Maria T. (Agneskirchner) Motycki, 86 of Charleroi, went to meet the Lord and her Savior on Friday, September 20, 2019.

Born on March 28, 1933 in Gotting, Germany. Maria was the daughter of Anna and Johann Agneskirchner of Gotting, Germany.

Maria was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Edward.

Surviving are her son, Edward Motycki (Cindy) of Monongahela; four daughters Patricia Begg of Monongahela, Maria Moyer of Ellsworth, Diane Folle (Ken) of Monongahela, and Barbara Ringate (Warren) of St. Michael, Minnesota; sisters Franziska Beigel and Theresa Daischil of Germany; ten grandchildren, Ronald, Dominick, Brandon, Angela, Aaron, Christopher and Renee Moyer, Matthew and Brian Polinski and Shannon Motycki; three great grandchildren, Billy, Bella and Liam; four step-grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Jessica and Melissa; six step great grandchildren, Alexis, Cole, Jacie, Rowan, Cody and Gavin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers, Johann and Josef Agneskirchner and sister Anna Agneskirchner.

Maria met the love of her life, Ed in Germany while he was serving in the United States Air Force. They spent many wonderful years together before his passing in 2002.

Maria became a proud citizen of the United States of America on July 7, 1969.

Maria was a wonderful wife and mother and loved her family and home with all her heart. She enjoyed working in her garden with her flowers and watching and feeding birds.

She also had a great love for the Lord and was an avid member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Bentleyville.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 24 followed at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Katharine Drexel, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, Pastor, as celebrant.

A procession will follow to Sacred Heart Cemetery for the Rite of Committal service.
