Marie Smiley Morgan

Marie Smiley Morgan, 91, of Bentleyville, died unexpectedly Friday, November 26, 2010 at home.

She was born April 4, 1919 in Bentleyville, a daughter of Robert L. and Blanche Deems Smiley.

Mrs. Morgan was a life-long resident of Bentleyville, where she graduated from high school and was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church.

On October 25, 1938 she married James M. Morgan, Sr., who died May 23, 1986.

Surviving are a son, Robert L. Morgan (Jane) of Washington; twin daughters, Susan Galensky (George) of Scenery Hill and Suzanne Lukich (Frank) of Ellsworth; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Audrey Williams of Zollarsville and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a son, James M. Morgan, Jr.; brother, Emmett Smiley and sister, Geraldine Post.

Friends are welcome from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA (724-239-2255), where services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 29, 2010 with the Rev.
