Martha Lewis Zelinsky

Martha Zelinsky, 87, formerly of Ellsworth, died Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Kinder Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was born July 10, 1921, a daughter of William and Ruth Zolikoff Lewis.

A homemaker, she attended Ellsworth High School.

During World War II she served with the WAC.

Mrs. Zelinsky was a member of St. Nicholas Old Believers Russian Orthodox Church, Marianna.

On June 2, 1948 she married John Andy Zelinsky, who died March 8, 1985.

Surviving are three children Diana Zelinsky (husband Larry Magday) of Hermosa Beach, California, Judith Zelinsky of Carmel, Indiana and John Zelinsky (wife Chris) of Redondo Beach, California

Deceased are a daughter, Pamela Zelinsky; a sister, Hellen (Maxine) Yurkovich and a brother, Clarence (Clem) Lewis.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 22.
