Mary R. Cairns, 73, of Bentleyville, died Thursday afternoon, April 11, 2013 at her home.
She was born June 29, 1939, in California, a daughter of Andrew and Lillian C. Doney Cairns.
She graduated from the California High School. At the age of 50, she graduated from The Washington Hospital School of Nursing.
She worked part-time as a Registered Nurse for the LTSR Mental Health Association in Bentleyville.
Surviving are a daughter, Rose Cairns Peter (Larry G.) of Woodbridge, Virginia; a granddaughter, Lacey J. Peter; a sister, Ruth Parkinson of California and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, Cynthia L. Arden and a brother, William "Sheen" Cairns.
