Mary Doty Obituary
Mary L. D'Antonio Doty, 88, of Marianna, died Sunday, August 14, 2011 in The Willows of Presbyterian SeniorCare, Oakmont.
She was born December 23, 1922 in Marianna, a daughter of Nicholas and Antoinette Azzaroli D'Antonio.
She was a graduate of the West Bethlehem Township High School in Marianna.
Mrs. Doty was a member of the Saints Mary and Ann Church of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish in Marianna and the parish's Christian Mothers.
On May 18, 1946 in Marianna, she married Chester T. Doty, who died December 9, 1987.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda M. Doty (Michael Fay) of San Francisco, Cal., Teresa R. Davoli (Jim) of Garland, Texas and Maria Doty of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Erin Sisk, Brian Sisk, Natalie Holt, Nina Davoli, James Davoli III and Iris Doty; a sister, Julia Majerchik of Baden and several nieces and nephews.
Also deceased is a daughter, Annette V. Sisk.
Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255 and to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 17 at Saints Mary and Ann Church, Marianna with the Rev. Paul J. Grunebach, as celebrant. Everyone is asked to meet at the church. Interment will follow in Saints Mary and Ann Cemetery, Marianna. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, 815 Freeport Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215.
