Mary Podroskey Obituary

Mary D. Paulick Podroskey, 87, of Scenery Hill, died Tuesday, March 30, 2007 at the Mon Valley Care Center, Carroll Township.


She was born in Catsburg, Penna., a daughter of John Adam and Emilia Monko Paulick. A homemaker, she was a member of the Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville.


On September 19, 1947 in Clarksville, she married Steve Podroskey, who survives.


Also surviving are three sons, Dave Podroskey (wife Mary), Stefan and Phillip Podroskey, all of Scenery Hill; daughter, Roberta Williams (husband Nick) of Bentleyville; two grandchildren, Brett Williams and Heather Podroskey; four sisters, Gertrude Roberts of Butler, Amelia Cullen of Brownsville, Roseanne Sicchitano of California and Etsie Andrews of Erie and several nieces and nephews.


Deceased are three brothers, Joseph, John S. and William F. Paulick and a sister, Margaret Schranner.


Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at Noon, Saturday, March 24, 2007 followed at 12:30 p.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville, with Rev. Edwin J. Wichman, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ave Maria School, P.O. Box 590, Ellsworth, Pa. 15331.
