Mary Jo Rudy

Mary Jo Organiscak Rudy, 57, of Bentleyville, died Thursday evening, May 19, 2016 at Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Pittsburgh.

She was born April 23, 1959, in Washington, a daughter of Violet Frank Organiscak of Bentleyville and the late Frank Organiscak, Sr.

In 1977, she graduated from Bentworth High School.

She was a member of Ave Maria Parish.

Mary Jo was a deli associate at Walmart in Washington and was an avid bingo player.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a granddaughter, Keely Josey (Emory) of Lucedale, Mississippi; great-granddaughter, Ivory Josey; siblings, Renee Lyons (Jim) of Altoona, Cheryl Barath (the late John) of Brownsville, David Organiscak (Debbie) of Warrensburg, Missouri and Lori Organiscak of Clayton, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Debbie Aaron (Bruce) of West Newton; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her father, are two daughters, Nicole Rudy and Natalie Rudy; two brothers, Frank Organiscak, Jr. and Richard J. Organiscak; a sister, Linda Lee Organiscak, who died in infancy; paternal grandparents, John and Catherine Organiscak; maternal grandparents, George, Sr. and Emma Frank.

Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2016 followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in Ave Maria Church, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Edward L.
