Michael L. Davis, 78, of Washington, formerly of Charleston, West Virginia, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, October 7, 2018.
He was born July 1, 1940 in Copen, West Virginia, a son of Kathleen Fox Nicholson.
Mr. Davis was a graduate of Burnsville High School in Burnsville, West Virginia and served with the Air National Guard.
At the time of his death, he was working as an equipment manager for Frontier Railroad Construction Service.
Surviving are his wife, Pauline “Polly” Heater Davis; a daughter and son-in-law, Michele L. Davis-Raines and Jeff of Ripley, West Virginia; a sister, Vicki Ann Jordan of Charleston, West Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome to a memorial visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a memorial service will follow with the Rev. Don Chandler, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions to a humane society of the donor’s choice.
