Michael J. Pjontek Jr., 87, went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2025, surrounded by all the women in his life.
He dedicated 35 years of service to the U.S. Postal Service and was a proud member of the Slovak Catholic Sokols.
Michael loved traveling and cherished every moment spent with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 63 years, Patricia Buechel Pjontek, and his three daughters, Gail (James) Jarnigan, Wendy (Mike) Scatteregia, and Amy (Jim) Frink.
Michael was the proud grandfather of seven beautiful grandchildren, Joshua Schaff (Bailey Campbell), Kassandra (Kevin) Lambright, Jordan (Kaetlyn) Schaff, Hunter (Heather) Adams, Jared (Kaitlyn) Schaff, James Frink, and Alexandra Frink.
He was blessed to know and love his great-grandson, Kade Lambright.
He is also survived by his brother John (Kathy) Pjontek, numerous cherished nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends.
Michael was proud to have honored his country as a United States Marine. He will be laid to rest privately at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
Friends are welcome to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am, Friday, December 19, 2025 at Saint Katharine Drexel, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, as celebrant.
A reception will follow the Mass at Saint Katharine Drexel Hall.
