Nancy Jones Obituary
Nancy Kay Rupcich Jones, 66, of Tavares, Florida, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011.
Born in Ellsworth and moved to Central Florida in 1972 from Bentleyville.
She retired from Siemens (Stromberg-Carlson) where she was active in the management club. She was very active in her church life as a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis, Florida, where she was president of the Sodality. She also was past president of the ODCCW & Central Deanery North CCW. Nancy served on the Board of Directors for the Sanford Crisis Pregnancy Center.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Jones of Tavares; three sons, Robert (Debby) Jones, Jr. of St. Cloud, Flor., Timothy J. (Pamela) Jones of Aurora, Colorado and Matthew E. Jones of Denver, Colorado; two grandchildren, Michael and Evan Jones; three sisters, Mildred Zilka of Lake Forest, Florida, Barbara Gibbs of Ellsworth and Bernadine Rupcich of Pittsburgh; brother-in-law, Charles Shaughnessy and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her parents, Matthew and Mildred Rupcich and her sister, Rita Shaughnessy.
Friends are welcome from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, September 22 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, September 23, followed at 10 a.m. by Mass of Christian Burial at Ave Maria Church, Bentleyville with the Rev.
