Nellie Jane (Ulanosky) Woleslagle, 101, of Cokeburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Presbyterian Senior Care in Washington.
Nellie was born on September 13, 1921, in Scenery Hill and lived all her adult life on Franklin Street in Cokeburg.
She was a long-time member of the Cokeburg Presbyterian Church and active in the church’s Ladies Aid Society. She was also a member of the Bentleyville Senior Citizen’s Center, as well as many other organizations over the years.
Surviving is one sister, Louise Hercik; two daughters, Carol Niland, and Rebecca Bane and her husband Arthur Bane; four grandchildren, Shannon (Niland) Wilson and her husband Gregory Wilson, Nicholas Wagnitz Niland and his husband Jeffrey Wagnitz, Devon Bane, Kemper Bane and his wife Dawn Bane; three great-grandchildren, Josephine Jane Morgan, Tristan Gregg Morgan, and Kaiden Guy Bane.
Nellie was married on July 28, 1945, to Guy Woleslagle, who passed November 13, 1988.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Alex, John, and Mike; one sister Virgie Provins.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow immediately, officiated by Pastor Frances Skariot.
Interment will follow in the Scenery Hill Cemetery.
