Opal Morrison Obituary

Opal Marie Danley Morrison, 85, of Eighty Four passed away Thursday afternoon, June 3, 2021, at Concordia Hospice of Washington, The Donnell House.

She was born February 15, 1936 in Buffalo Township, a daughter of Carl E. Danley and Susan F. Mounts Danley.

Mrs. Morrison was a 1954 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.

She was a member of the Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir.

On August 20, 1955 at the Fairview Church, she married Emerson L. Morrison, who died December 25, 2003.

Surviving are her daughter, Denise Marie Babeji (John Allen) of Eighty Four; grandson, Justin Babeji (Becca) of Washington; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Zoey Babeji; and siblings, Lois Breckons, Carl Danley (Charlene), and Mary Ann Maze (Walter), all of Washington; and Ethel Sue Cole (Ronald) of Richmond, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her brothers Alvin, Earl, and Sam Danley.

Friends are welcome from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, June 8 at the Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church, 45 Church Road, Eighty Four, PA 15330. Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend John Dykstra officiating.

Interment will follow in Pigeon Creek Cemetery.
