Patty Barnes

Patty L. Heatley Barnes, 84, of Beallsville, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at The Donnell House, Washington.

She was born on November 8, 1932 in Washington, a daughter of Trevolia and Margaret Amos Heatley.

A graduate of Trinity High School, Mrs. Barnes worked for the former Hazel-Atlas Glass and Brockway Glass in Washington.

On June 28, 1975 in Washington, she married, Paul A. “Adi” Barnes, who died February 19, 2013.

Mrs. Barnes was the last of his immediate family.

Surviving are her niece and caregiver, Karen Palfreyman, in addition to several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Deceased are two sisters, Louise Clapp and Peggy Ann Heatley and three brothers, William, Jim and Tre Heatley.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2017 with Pastor Jay Freudenberg, officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to The Donnell House, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301.
