Paul John Lasko, Jr., 53, of Marianna, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
He was born February 19, 1969, in Washington, a son of Paul and Beverly Yorty Lasko, who survive and reside in Marianna.
Paul was a 1987 graduate of Bethlehem Center High School.
For many years, he was a machinist employed by companies such as All-Clad Metalcrafters in Canonsburg, Zamma Corporation in Virginia, and he was currently employed by WestRock in Coal Center.
Paul was an avid fan of NASCAR, and all Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Steelers and Penguins.
He had a strong love and appreciation of music and was a bass player in several bands throughout his lifetime. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of nature. He also had an interest and knowledge in meteorology.
Paul was a wonderful son, brother, and friend to many.
He was a member of the Saint Katharine Drexel Parish, the former Saints Mary and Ann Parish in Marianna, and was a member of the Steele Lillie Post 744 American Legion in Marianna.
Also surviving, in addition to his parents, are his two sisters, Tina Vasko (Adam) of West Newton, and Rebecca Knizner (Joseph) of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2022, with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, officiating.
Interment will follow in Saints Mary and Ann Cemetery, Marianna for a Rite of Committal service.
