Peter Kiski, 85, formerly of Bentleyville, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Country Meadows Nursing Center, Bridgeville.
He was born February 18, 1923 in Arnold City, Pennsylvania, a son of George and Gertrude Jennie Bendinsky Kiski.
A veteran, he served with U.S. Army during World War II in the American and Asiatic Pacific Theaters.
Mr. Kiski was a retired miner and worked for Bethlehem Mines.
His wife, Mildred Kiski, died in 1993.
Surviving are a brother, Alex Kiski of Ellsworth; nieces Saundra Stout (husband Bill) of Eighty Four, Rebecca Ullom (husband David) of New Market, Alabama, Janet Trozzi (husband David) of Washington, Marion Snyder (husband Harold) of Jacksonville, Flor., Vicki Ann Riser (husband Gene) of George West, Texas and several great nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three brothers, Dallas Richard Kiski, John Kiski and George Kiski and a sister, Tessie Harhay.
Private services were held Tuesday, June 10 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc, 809 Main Street, Bentleyville. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela with graveside military rites by the American Legion Post 165, Bentleyville.
