Albert “Rick” Weinzen, 79, of Bentleyville, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 11, 2026, following a courageous 10-year battle with dementia.
He was born on June 8, 1947, in Charleroi, Rick was a loving and devoted family man.
He and his wife, Judith Weinzen, shared 60 wonderful years together and were married for 57 of them.
Rick was an awesome husband and an even better dad — a man whose quiet strength, unwavering love, and dedication to his family touched everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Kudra Weinzen; his daughters, Kimberly Umbel (husband William) and Erica Martos (husband Dan); his foster daughter, Mary Ann Derosa; and seven beloved grandchildren.
Friends are welcome to attend Rick’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2026, at Saint Katharine Drexel, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, Pastor, as celebrant.
Private burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date.
