Robert Edward "Buddha" Geisler, 66, of Fredericktown, Deemston Borough, died Saturday, September 1, 2007 as a result of a farming accident.
He was born August 8, 1941 in Pittsburgh, a son of Eunice Elizabeth Toward Gossett of Oakdale and the late John Regis Geisler.
A veteran, he served with US Army during the Vietnam era as a staff sergeant.
Bob was a mason for 50 years with various contractors and last worked for Lee Harris Masonry, Pittsburgh as a foreman.
He was a member of American Legion, Marianna and the Bricklayers Union.
He enjoyed farming as a hobby.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his longtime companion, Nancy Sebetich Woods; two daughters and sons-in-law, Anna Marie and Craig D. Smith of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Beth Ann and James E. Porter of Oakdale; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, John Geisler of Sturgeon and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are son, Bobby Geisler, Jr.; a brother, George "Butch" Geisler and a sister, Gladys "Cookie" Lesky.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 5 at Puffy's Pub, 342 Main Street, Clarksville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
