Ronald DiNardo, Sr. Obituary

Ronald DiNardo, Sr., 74, of Bentleyville, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Washington County Health Center surrounded by his family.

He was born July 7, 1937 in Ellsworth, a son of the late Ernest and Jennie Elizabeth Constable DiNardo.

A 1956 graduate of the Ellsworth High School, he attended Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio.

He retired from Renaissance Retirement Village in North Olmsted, Ohio where he worked as a maintenance supervisor.

Mr. DiNardo was a member of the Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville.

He was also a member of the Italian Club and Moose Lodge, both in North Ridgeville, Ohio.

His wife, Ruth A. Magera DiNardo, survives. They were married June 22, 1963 at St. Clement Church, Ellsworth.

Also surviving are two sons, Ronald DiNardo, Jr. (Lisa) of Lima, Ohio and Russell DiNardo (Paulette) of Hopewell, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Ronald L., Alyssa, Mariano and Bella DiNardo; a brother, Michael E. DiNardo (Wilma) of Maple Heights, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Monday, January 23 followed at 10 a.m. by Mass of Christian Burial at Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville with the Rev. Edward Yuhas, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela. The Ave Maria Parish Women's Guild will pray the Rosary at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
