Rose M. Korba Teluch, 95, of Ellsworth, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023 in her home.
She was born July 2, 1927 in Cokeburg, a daughter of Andrew and Anna Merichko Korba.
She attended Cokeburg Elementary.
Mrs. Teluch was a member of the Saint Katharine Drexel Parish, Ellsworth Women’s Club, the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Bowling Leagues at Tan-O-Bell Lanes in Bentleyville.
She was also a member of the former St. Clement Church in Ellsworth, where she was a member of the Rosary Society. She cooked for the Nuns who taught at the former St. Clement Catholic School and drove the late Father Michael Gubanich to see his family in Pittsburgh.
She baked cookies and nut rolls and made perogies that she sold for a few years at Pike Days.
On November 16, 1946 at St. Clement Church, she married Anthony Teluch, who died December 23, 1987.
Surviving are her four children, Rosalie Macyda (the late Steven H.), Maryann Harner (Dick), Pastor Terry Teluch (Carla), and Tony Teluch (Raye); seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers and four sisters.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2023, followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Katharine Drexel, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville.
A procession will follow to Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela for the Rite of Committal service.
