Rosemond Yannacci Kerns, 94, of Ellsworth, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026 in her home.
She was born March 14, 1932 in Bentleyville, a daughter of Dominick A. and Julia Kosilesky Yannacci.
A homemaker, she once worked at the Meadows Racetrack in Washington and attended Saint Katharine Drexel Parish in Bentleyville.
On February 3, 1951, she married John R. Kerns, who passed away October 14, 2011.
Surviving are her children, Connie Caster of Mount Clemens, Michigan, Barry Kerns of Ellsworth, and Diane Teagarden (the late Charles) of Ellsworth; grandchildren, Tom, Chad, Clint and Michael Shumar, Brian and Tim Caster, Amanda Rossi and Joshua Kerns; great-grandchildren, Laura Beth Bussey, Gabrielle and Dominic Caster, Mackenzie Shumar, Aubrey Rossi and Luca Rossi; great-great-granddaughter Raine, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, Sharon Shumar; grandson, Brandon Teagarden; brothers, Carmen and Eugene Yannacci and sisters, Julia Kerns, Marie Joan Yannacci and two infants.
Friends are welcome from 10 am until 12 Noon, Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a Blessing service will follow the visitation.
Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
