Ruth Emily Golding, 85, of Strabane Woods, Washington, died unexpectedly Friday, March 6, 2009, at Washington Hospital, Washington.
She was born June 4, 1923 in Ransomville, New York, a daughter of John and Nell Brennan Stacey.
She retired from Norman Prints Associates, where she worked as a accountant.
Mrs. Golding was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Ransomville and a former member of the V. F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Ransomville.
Her husband of 56 years, John Henry Golding, died October 11, 1998.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, John and Betsy Golding of McMurray, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Dr. Michael Golding, Melissa Golding and Molly Golding.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, March 14 at the Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, New York, followed at 11:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Ransomville. Interment will follow in North Ridge Cemetery. Family suggests memorial donations to Ambulance and Chair, 75 Braden Street, Washington, PA 15301.
