Ruth Arnold Hoak

Ruth Arnold Hoak, 88, formerly of Bentleyville, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Washington County Health Center.

She was born June 4, 1918 in Herminie, a daughter of Henry and Grace Crossland Arnold.

On December 24, 1953 in Charleroi, she married Thomas L. Hoak, who died February 23, 2001.

Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Moyer (husband Robert) of Las Vegas, Nevada; a brother, Henry Arnold of Bridgeville; three grandchildren, Mary Romero, Susan Johnson and Bill Moyer; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Deceased in addition to her husband is a grandson, Robbie Moyer, who died in 1981.

Friends received from 2 to 3:45 p.m., Friday March 16 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, followed by a service at 4 p.m. with the Rev. David Zona, officiating. Private interment in Monongahela Cemetery at a later date.
