Scott Myers

S cott E. Myers, 65, of Bentleyville, passed away Wednesday morning, July 14, 2021 at his home.

He was born September 15, 1955 in Richwood, West Virginia, a son of the late Don E. Myers and Agnes M. Volk Myers.

A 1973 graduate of Bentworth High School, Scott was a senior electrician for the Allegheny Health Network, Forbes campus from 1978 to 2014.

He rode bikes on the Great Allegheny Passage and the C & O Canal Trial to Washington, D.C. and back with his son Christopher.

Scott loved cruising the ocean, traveling the USA with his wife and dear friends, Marc and Jan.

He also loved to hunt and fish with his sons and buddies, the outdoors, gardening, lawn care, taking his grandchildren on rides on the quad and collecting old pocket watches.

Scott enjoyed motorcycles, building dune buggies, riding horses with his dad and buddies.

Surviving are Debra Anderson Myers, his loving wife since May 10, 2005 and the best thing to happen to him. Scott enjoyed going on bike rides with her.

Also surviving are his five children, Jason Myers (Lauren), Jordan Myers (Karisa), Christopher Myers (Krista), Nicholas Kemerer (Shawna) and Krista Platt (Ryan);14 grandchildren; sisters, Pamela A. Myers and Barbara J. Myers; little lap sitters, Tillie and Lou-Lou.

Deceased is an infant sister, Donna.

Friends are welcome from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, followed by his funeral service with Pastor Donn Chapman, officiating.
