Thomas J. Siler, 91, of Eighty Four, passed away Friday morning, January 24, 2025 at home, with his family by his side.
He was born December 23, 1933 in Finleyville, a son of the late William Siler and Iva Biddle Siler.
He was a 1951 graduate of the Clairton High School.
A veteran, he served with the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958.
Mr. Siler was a long-time self-employed farmer, was the owner of the former 84 Farm Machinery, and a self-employed truck drive.
He attended the North Ten Mile Baptist Church in Amity.
His wife, Doris A. Patterson Siler, survives. They were married June 6, 1958 at the Mt. Prospect Church.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert Siler (Patricia), and Scott Siler; grandchildren, Bobby Siler, Brandon Siler, and Sierra Siler; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen Siler and Rich Siler, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his brothers, Bill Siler, Dan Siler, and Leo Siler, and sisters, Nedra Siler, and Jean Siler Davis.
Friends are welcome from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, where a service will immediately follow the visitation, with the Pastor Wesley Kavanagh, officiating.
