Thomas E. Wright, 81, of Eighty Four, passed away Wednesday morning, June 4, 2025 at Concordia Hospice of Washington, The Donnell House.
He was born November 12, 1943 in Charleroi, a son of the late Roy B. Wright, Sr., and Lillian Mae Hess Wright.
A veteran, he served with the U.S. Army as a private during the Vietnam war.
Tom worked as a heavy equipment operator for several companies.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 165, Polish Club, Lithuanian Club, and the Independent Club, all of Bentleyville, and the Miners Club in Richeyville.
He enjoyed meeting and having breakfast with his friends at the Eighty Four Truck Stop.
Surviving are his son, Thomas "Tucker" Skariot (Sara); grandsons, Seth Skariot (Kaitlyn Kelemen) and Blaine Skariot; three great-grandchildren; step-children, Chuck Gagus and Lisa Putnack (Jeff); brother Richard Wright, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his brother, Roy B. Wright, Jr., and sister, Alice Morrison.
Military funeral honors will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2025 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
