Veronica S. D'Vorchak

Veronica Suzanne D'Vorchak, 91, of Monessen, formerly of Bentleyville, died Friday, October 2, 2009 at her home.

She was born January 31, 1918 in Ellsworth, a daughter of John and Anna Zelinsky D'Vorchak.

A longtime resident of Bentleyville, she was a member of Ave Maria Parish.

Surviving are a sister, Mildred Hughes and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers, John and Joseph A. D'Vorchak and five sisters, Mary Bognar, Anna Kotulak, Margaret Garbutt, Helen Boccabello and Julia Rabuzzi.

Friends are welcome from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Ave Maria Church, Bentleyville. Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.
