Victoria (Vickie) A. Mance Morrell, 60, of Ellsworth, died Monday evening, February 11, 2013 at UPMC Shadyside.
She was born April 28, 1952 in Washington, a daughter of the late Michael âMeahâ and Helen Blostic Mance.
She attended the former St. Clements School in Ellsworth and was a 1970 graduate of Bentworth High School. She later received her Bachelor of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania.
Vickie was employed as a secretary for Royal Hydraulics in Cokeburg. She formerly worked for J.C. Penney in Washington.
She was a member of St. Hilary Church in Washington.
On June 21, 1980 at the former St. Joseph Church in Cokeburg, she married Gary L. Morrell, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Gregory L. Morrell of Ellsworth; a brother, Michael J. Mance (Judi) of Cokeburg; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Ruth Ann Morrell of Scenery Hill and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Family and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. Hilary Church, Washington with the Rev. Thomas OâNeil and Rev. Leonard Blostic, con-celebrants. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
