William "Bill" H. Watkins, 68, of Centerville Borough, Brownsville, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in The Donnell House, Washington.
He was born October 14, 1943 in North Charleroi, a son of the late William G. and Anna Theakston Watkins.
He was a graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School.
Bill worked for the former Bentleyville Telephone Company and later operated his own trucking company.
A veteran, he served with the U.S. Army Reserves.
His wife, Cathy E. Walker Watkins, whom he married May 29, 1965 in Dunlevy, survives.
Also surviving are four children, Holly Mitchell (Hubert), Tracy Crawford (Ronald), all of Fredericktown, Bill Watkins (Jennifer) and Carrie Watkins, all of Centerville; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Letham (Emery) and Carol Reed (Jim), all of Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 12 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where services will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Sue Calhoun, officiating.
