Yvonne Krivitsky Orsatti

Yvonne Krivitsky Orsatti, 73, of Bentleyville, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at UPMC – Presbyterian, Pittsburgh surrounded by her family.

Yvonne was born January 15, 1948 to Zigmund “Ziggy” and Mary Chernesky Krivitsky. She grew up in a large loving family with two brothers and a sister.

She was a graduate of Bentleyville-Ellsworth Joint High School, class of 1965. She worked for 20 years at Centerville Clinics then moved on to retire as the Finance & Operations Manager with the Washington County Tax Revenue Department in 2010.

She was a life-long member of Saint Katherine Drexel Parish, Bentleyville and the Croatian Fraternal Union St. George Lodge 354, Cokeburg.

Yvonne loved golfing, shopping and spending time with her friends and family. She had a love for traveling and her most cherished trips always involved having her family and friends along especially in Ocean City, MD.

She married Robert Orsatti on May 1, 1971, and together they made their home in Bentleyville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Robert (Kimberly); granddaughters Brina and Emme; her dog Gizmo; a sister Gloria Smitsky (Larry); a brother Zigmund; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald Krivitsky.

Yvonne made a courageous decision to proceed with a lung transplant in May 2020. There is endless gratitude for the attentiveness and vigilant care Yvonne received from the lung transplant teams and the MICU staff at UPMC Presbyterian.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
